I know how it feels to not know where you belong or who you are. To feel a longing inside but not be sure for what. When I was 25 years old, I made a decision to do whatever it takes to reach a point of comfort and contentment with who I am and what I am doing.
What a journey it has been.
My personal journey with the CliftonStrengths Assessment began in 2008 when I completed the online assessment. It truly changed the way I viewed myself and the world around me. I received informal training to be a facilitator through an accredited StrengthsFinder Coach at our church and later pursued formal training in 2014 through African Mosaic. My journey with Enneagram coaching started in 2018 when I completed the online assessment to help a friend achieve her accreditation as an Enneagram Practitioner. I loved it so much that I decided to undergo the training myself. By 2019, I had completed both Level 1 Certification (for individuals) and Level 2 Certification (for teams) training through Integrative9 Enneagram Solutions.
When you commit to such a profound journey, I realized there is no end, only surprises and many detours. I can honestly say that it has been the most interesting and fulfilling decade (and a bit) since I made this commitment. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone. I was so inspired by my own journey and amazed at how many of my relationships have flourished through it that I am now dedicating myself to your journey of self-exploration through personal development workshops.
Story of 'bläsəm'
‘bläsəm’ is the phonetic spelling of blossom. The idea came to me one evening as I was playing with thoughts about flowers. I’m not particularly a flower person, but my daughter is, and she has taught me so much about life and color, and I adore new spring blossoms. While experimenting in ‘Google Translate’, I stumbled upon the word ‘bläsəm’. It resonated with me instantly. Being Afrikaans, it resembled ‘asem’, which means breath. I also tried to pronounce it similar to the word ‘asem’.
Breath is such a beautiful metaphor for life.
When you look at my brand, I want you to become aware of your breath, how significant it is and how much life it can bring to others if you’re willing to embrace your true self, your full potential, and your own life.
Just breathe...
